I think educating the users/citizens on this is a better way on solving this matter. But not as easy as that, we've been fighting 'cetak rompak' for years, its everything but feared. Although this seems extreme as banning the CD/DVD to encounter the pirated CD/DVD.

When will we be ok of not having what we want? Do we lost the sense or feeling of 'owning' something. In this fast paced world where website,blogs,etc mushroomed in the cyberworld. News or post are easily replace, as the top spot usually for the latest news. Where magazine or something physically exist or printed, have that sense that i cant described. Or its just a personal thing.

Oops, no post for April.

Hope this short post,make up for it. This probably more engineering than IT. But its not rocket science. Build your own lie detector.

I cant help much on doing this, since i havent tried it yet. The guy in the video, KipKay is a famous for his electrical hack and DIY video. Subscribe to his youtube channel for upcoming DIY video, which you might like (or not). Click here for resource or info on this project. Visit his website here.

I have bought the parts. In total its roughly less than RM10, excluding cost of transport. If anyone interest could gladly help you guys to get the parts and post it to you guys, though postage fee apply. Bulk order would be great, save the earth, go green :P (save my cost)

I guarantee this had happened to any of us that had been designing for other people, for a customer,boss,anyone.

Somehow funny, somehow got me thinking, maybe a little out of context. But if only designers can appreciate the design, then why dont they just design it themselves. Services offered to people who needed them, needed help or assistance, aka designing for people that doesnt know the how to (because doesnt mean they cant).

Book Club #1 : Talent Is Overrated

I get to know this book from a guy I follow on twitter, Seth Sandler.
I'm not eligible to give review on books, hahaha. So i leave it for Mr.google to do it for you :)

But if you are still interested, to hear from me, here goes :
This book does answer quite a few of questions that have been in my mind for long time(1year?).

I have read up too chapter 5, and barely just begun 6. Well what the most important point I get from this book is that, hardwork and deliberate practice. In this book does not try to prove the non-existent of talent, where this book also include various researches that have been done.

That what I understand from this, open for discussion and opinion. What still on my mind is, so can we learn to be creative? creativity an innate talent or if you work on it, you may be creative.

1 of our dear friend/classmate 's father(Abdul Wahid) had been admitted to the hospital on 25/6 due to difficulty in breathing. Been in the critical stage and unconscious for hours since admitted. As for now, he is stable and conscious, but still dependent to the machine to breath.

To all, please do pray for her father. Pray that he soon recover.

Its been nearly 17weeks after her dad passed away, and yesterday ecah's makcik (step mom) had been admitted to the hospital. (i dont dare to ask n disturb her anymore, do ask her personally though). The strongest person i know.

up coming, im trying to configure our own image gallery for most of our group activities... but i got problem w/ the configuration...im using pixelpost (cms)...if it successful, the post wouldnt be cluttered as now.

Firstly sorry for the inconvenience. But fixed the problem, and now you can view "DIP eMag 2nd Edition" online, again :P. Click link to view [dip emag 2nd ed. online]. But i do recommend you to download it, for smooth and better viewing. And also it is for yours to keep.

The font is quite small, but you can 'right click' and 'zoom in'. 'zoom out' to return, or click '100%' to view original size. I would make it larger but I have to consider with people with lower screen resolution :].

What happened?
the site/page where i put the dip emag 2nd edition.swf is somehow.....dissapear. The original/previous site is www.dip-group.co.cc.

Why/how it happened?
Actually IDK, hosting(not blogger) problem i guess. Maybe they accidentally deleted my account. that was actually sarcasm :p.

The site where I register is still exist, but I cant to access/login to my account for http://www.dip-group.co.cc/ . Just hope it is only a temporary closure/maintenance/block/etc.

Is that a good news or a bad news? up to you. But even though you don't like him he still had taught you/us something. For some people thankful to En. Saharudin, you can still support him even though he already moved. My personal suggestion is clicking on the ads(advertisements) in his site (http://yoohaa.net/jtmk). I don't know if that site still going to be JTMK PoliKU site after he left hermm...

It's very nice of him to create yoohaa.net/jtmk specially for JTMK PKS students. Because yoohaa support/powered by joomla is not a free web hosting service. He didn't brag about it, because most lecturer doesn't even know there's a JTMK PKS site. There's no other lecturer involve/registered to it. Either he(MSA@En.Saharudin) don't let any other lecturer to join or other lecturer don't even bother.

Binary head!

If you are binary and/or a die hard programmer, this post it for you. It's about binary! binary clocks and watches for your everyday lives. ~~This items will increase your geek bar :D, maybe your programming skills to :P~~ It's difficult to read but it's fun though. Post content :
- binary watch, binary clock, binary analog clock (wall)
- how to read binary clock.

These post suppose to be in the 2nd edition of dip-group e-mag, but time constrains ~~assignments, quiz, test,...~~, sorry.

Wikipedia :- A binary clock is a clock which displays traditional sexagesimal time in a binary format. Originally, it showed each decimal digit of sexagesimal time as a binary value, but presently true binary clocks also exist. Most binary clocks are digital, although analog varieties exist.[more]

this one will took a lot of time to read, unless you been using these clock since you're born. Below is a bit easier to read. It just like an normal everyday analog clock, only the decimal numbers changed to binary.

We saved the best for last. Below is my pick for binary clock, but have to agreed it's not that practical for our everyday life & use.

MSC Malaysia, through Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC)and its Creative Multimedia Department, has initiated a series of creative content competition in 2006. The competition now has become an annual event that covers various types of creative multimedia content. Come and compete in the 2008 series.

There are 4 categories to compete in :
